Readings of 'The Duality of Thought and Knowledge' in Irbid

The Al-Jiyad Forum for Culture and Development, the Adwa Al-Sharq Tourism Association, the Yarmouk River Association for Development and Culture, and the Bayader Al-Kheir Association for Heritage Preservation organized, on Saturday evening at the Artists' Club in Irbid, an evening entitled 'Readings in the book 'The Duality of Thought and Knowledge' by the writer and researcher Abdul Majeed Jaradat.

The evening was attended by the writers Samer Al-Maani, Dr. Walid Za'iter, the writer Hassan Abu Haniya, and the writer Rola Al-Ammari, while the meeting was moderated by the writer Sahar Al-Maghayreh.

The readings started from the book as a space for reflection on the relationship between thought and knowledge, and the questions that this relationship raises about human, culture, and society. The participants stopped at a number of issues and ideas that Jaradat raises in his book, reviewing his experience in writing and research, and what distinguishes his project with attention to intellectual and cultural issues.

The interventions also addressed the writer's attempts to connect knowledge with life and its renewed questions, and to transform thought from a theoretical material into an approach to understanding the transformations experienced by humans and society, in a reading that highlighted the importance of cultural dialogue in producing knowledge and expanding its spaces
