The Creative Team Forum for Culture and Arts held, this Monday, a poetry and dialogue evening titled: "The Poetic Experience of Poet Mohammed Kanaan," moderated by the storyteller and writer Ahmed Abu Haliwa at the forum's headquarters, amidst a remarkable presence of writers, intellectuals, and those interested in cultural affairs in the Rusaifa district.
The forum's president, Raed Assaf, opened the evening with a welcoming speech in which he greeted the attendees and participants, emphasizing the importance of these meetings in enriching the cultural scene, supporting creators, and bringing creative experiences closer to the public.
In his dialogue with poet Mohammed Kanaan, Abu Haliwa addressed topics including his human and creative journey, starting from his childhood in the city of Nablus, his move to Iraq, and his return to Palestine before settling in Jordan.
During the evening, poet Kanaan presented a bouquet of his poems, most notably the "Canaanite Epic" poem, with which he participated in the "Prince of Poets" program, in a poetic atmosphere that received interaction and appreciation from the audience.
