The memorandum aligns with Orange’s expanding role as a technology partner for the business sector, leveraging its capabilities in communications, connectivity, cloud computing, cybersecurity, managed services, data centers, and information and communications technology solutions, as well as its experience in the Jordanian market and the regional reach of the Beyon group. Through collaboration with JODDB, Orange aims to expand these capabilities and explore integrated solutions combining digital infrastructure, technical expertise, and research and development to meet evolving institutional needs.
John Delves, Chief Executive Officer of Orange, said: "Institutional technology needs have become increasingly interconnected and complex, extending beyond mere connectivity or a single technical service. Through this memorandum, we are combining Orange’s capabilities in digital infrastructure and technical solutions with JODDB’s expertise in research, development, and manufacturing to explore solutions that respond to these needs and support institutions in keeping pace with rapid technological change."
For his part, Colonel Engineer Mohammad Al-Ansari, Deputy General Manager of the Jordan Design and Development Center "JODDB", said: "This memorandum allows us to combine the center’s capabilities in research and development, design, and manufacturing with Orange’s expertise in telecommunications and technology, exploring joint opportunities in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and other advanced technologies. We also look forward to collaborating on developing specialized skills through the Cyber Shield Academy."
Both parties intend to form a joint committee to identify priority areas of cooperation and study potential future projects and services. The memorandum of understanding provides a framework for exploring these opportunities, with any future agreed-upon projects or services subject to necessary evaluation and contractual arrangements.
