In Nablus, settlers continued, for the third consecutive day, to cut off electricity to the house of lawyer Montaser Hamayel on Mount Al-Arma in the town of Beita, south of the city, as part of continuous attacks targeting the family and imposing restrictions on them.
The official in charge of settlement resistance in the town, Mohammed Hamayel, said in a statement that settlers continue to cut off electricity to Hamayel's house, noting that the family is subjected to almost daily attacks and restrictions on their freedom of movement.
Furthermore, settler attacks forced 20 Palestinian Bedouin families from the Al-Ras Al-Ahmar Bedouin community to leave, while 27 families still residing in the community face threats of displacement amid fears of worsening forced displacement operations.
The Al-Baidar human rights organization quoted activist Saeed Fayyad as saying that the families who left were forced to depart the community under difficult conditions and continuous pressures, while the remaining families face harsh living conditions and increasing threats to leave the area.
In Ramallah, settlers set fire to the welcome roundabout at the entrance of the village of Burqa, east of the city, causing significant damage. The head of the Burqa village council, Sayel Kanaan, stated in a statement that settlers ignited vehicle tires on the roundabout's stones, leading to a fire and extensive damage to it.
In Salfit, settlers attacked the property of Palestinian farmers in the Al-Wadi Al-Ahmar area, east of the village of Marda, north of the city, coinciding with the olive harvest season.
In Jenin, Israeli occupation forces prevented citizens from the town of Ya'bad, southwest of the city, from reaching their lands to harvest olives, despite prior coordination, and detained a number of them before forcing them to return.
Radical Jewish settlers closed today the Wadi Al-Rababa neighborhood in the town of Silwan, south of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied city of Jerusalem.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Silwan reported that settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, installed an iron gate at the entrance of the Wadi Al-Rababa neighborhood and completely closed the neighborhood, preventing service and support vehicles from entering it.
