MP Al-Jarrah: Starting the first step of the sewage project in Northern Mazar

The First Assistant to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, MP Hala Al-Jarrah, a member of the Reform Party, said that the Ministry of Water and Irrigation / Water Authority has announced the issuance of a tender for the preparation of comprehensive engineering studies and designs for the establishment of a sewage network project in the Northern Mazar District, following continuous efforts and diligent follow-ups during which intensive meetings were held over the past months with the ministry and all relevant government agencies.

Al-Jarrah confirmed that this communication and intensive work resulted in placing the project at the forefront of government executive plan priorities, noting that the issuance of the engineering studies tender represents the first and essential step toward the actual commencement of constructing an integrated network that serves all areas and villages of the district, and ends the environmental and health damages that the residents have suffered from for many years.

Al-Jarrah extended her great thanks and gratitude to the Minister of Water and Irrigation, Engineer Raed Abu Al-Saud, the Secretary-General of the Water Authority, Engineer Sufian Bataineh, and all the staff working in the ministry and the authority, praising their response to the requests and needs of the district's residents, and their tangible interaction with parliamentary demands, which reflects the shared commitment to completing infrastructure projects and upgrading the service and health level.

She explained that this strategic project contributes directly to developing infrastructure, protecting groundwater and the local environment, and improving the services provided to the district's residents.

Al-Jarrah concluded her statement by emphasizing the continuation of her oversight and service role to follow up on all stages of the tender until actual implementation on the ground, stressing that serving the people of the Northern Mazar District and defending their rights to development and basic services will always remain at the forefront of her parliamentary priorities.
