Lebanese President Joseph Aoun said in a statement, "This decision serves as an indicator of confidence in the measures taken by the Lebanese state to ensure the safety of civil aviation, protect air traffic to and from Beirut, and enhance the security of flights connecting Lebanon to the world."
He added, "Lebanon attaches utmost importance to civil aviation safety, the security of Rafic Hariri International Airport, and air navigation, and continues to take the necessary measures in accordance with approved international standards, in a way that preserves the safety of passengers and strengthens confidence in Lebanon and its institutions."
