The activities of the first Qatrana Cultural Festival kick off today, Thursday, under the patronage of Minister of Culture Mustafa Al-Rawashdeh, within the historic Qatrana Castle at 6:00 PM. The event aims to highlight the cultural and heritage presence of Qatrana and connect cultural activity with the community's memory and history. The organization of the festival comes within the framework of the Ministry of Culture's direction toward expanding cultural momentum in the governorates and allowing historical and heritage sites to become spaces hosting cultural and artistic events, thereby enhancing the presence of culture in public life and bringing it closer to local communities.
Holding the festival within the grounds of Qatrana Castle carries special significance, as the cultural event intersects with one of the region's most prominent historical landmarks, presenting the venue as part of the national memory and a space for interaction between culture and heritage.
