The Ministry of Labor explained the mechanism for investors in industrial cities in the governorates of Ma'an, Karak, and Tafila to benefit from government incentives allocated to support employment, affirming that these incentives aim to increase the employment of Jordanians and provide sustainable job opportunities in these governorates.

The Director of the Fund for Supporting Vocational Education, Training, Technical and Professional Development and Skills Development in the Ministry, Hediel Al-Abdallat, said that investors in the Ma'an Industrial City can apply for worker wage support incentives for 3 years, approved by the Council of Ministers, through Ma'an Development Company, in accordance with the approved terms and procedures for the productive branches mechanism.

Al-Abdallat pointed out that the operational support for productive branches and industrial cities in Karak, Tafila, and Ma'an aims to provide sustainable job opportunities for the people of these governorates, stimulate investment, and expand economic activity within them, within a system of investment incentives and benefits directed to these areas.

The mechanism for supporting productive branches includes a package of incentives for establishments and workers, including support for half the minimum wage for each beneficiary worker, covering transportation allowance and social security subscriptions worth 25 dinars per month for each, in addition to the possibility of existing projects benefiting from the incentives of the National Employment Program according to its conditions, to support the sustainability of job opportunities and expansion of employment.
