Prime Minister: Very important economic opportunities in Ma'an.. And it is necessary to take advantage of them

Prime Minister Jafar Hassan said during a cabinet session in Ma'an Governorate that there are very important economic opportunities for Ma'an Governorate, and it is necessary to take advantage of them, and we will be able to move forward with these opportunities in the next two years so that the governorate can launch a sustainable development process.

The Prime Minister added that the regional situation is difficult, and the crises around us are not easy at all, and they have an impact on the region and the world and may last for months or years, but our determination, effort, and resolve are stronger, as His Majesty our leader always taught and directed us when things are difficult around us.

Prime Minister: Our determination and all our effort today is focused on building the economy, improving services, and enabling citizens to find the necessary income opportunities, and this is the first priority and nothing else is above it, and this government is working to build local and economic capabilities; so that we can face regional crises and challenges even if they last.

Prime Minister: Thank God, under the leadership of our leader and with his directives, and with the strength of our army and security institutions, we are now able to focus fully on building our economy in all its details, with a strategic vision and perspective determined by the Economic Modernization Vision, and we are working in every detail to implement and execute this vision according to the Supreme Government Mandate Book.

Prime Minister: The development zone in Ma'an should be at a much higher level, and we have started to put in place incentives to enhance its competitiveness and attract investments to it, including a 50% reduction in land prices, and 75% in electricity for the first two years for projects, in addition to incentives for employing Jordanian workers.

Prime Minister: This is the fifth working visit of the government to Ma'an Governorate in the past two years, and we are committed to implementing all the projects and programs that the government has committed to in the governorate's development vision and the progress of work in it.

Prime Minister: The completion rate of projects and programs within the development vision in Ma'an reaches more than 81%, with a total of 127 projects distributed across various sectors, and their cost over three years is about a quarter of a billion dinars.
