The Irbid Cultural Forum organized a panel discussion entitled "Jordan is not on the sidelines of the scene: Managing Transformations and Building the Future" in which Dr. Laith Al-Qahwi spoke, in the presence of a number of writers, intellectuals, and those interested, and was moderated by the writer Abdul-Majid Jaradat.

Al-Qahwi confirmed during the panel that Jordan has opportunities and assets that allow it to have an active presence in the regional and international scene, based on its geographical location, qualified human capital, institutional experience, and its regional and international network of relations.

He pointed to the contributions of Jordanian competencies in building and developing human capacities in a number of friendly and neighboring countries, stressing the importance of investing in human resources and national expertise in facing transformations and building the future.

Al-Qahwi touched on the positions of His Majesty King Abdullah II towards regional issues, referring to his speech to the global public and his warnings about the repercussions of chaos and conflicts on peoples and the suffering witnessed in the Palestinian territories and the Gaza Strip.
