Jordan condemned the two attacks launched by the Houthi militia, which targeted Abha and King Khalid International Airports in Saudi Arabia, resulting in a number of deaths among residents of Moroccan, Algerian, and Sudanese nationalities, as well as several injuries. Jordan considered this a flagrant violation of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty, a threat to its security and stability, and a blatant breach of international law and the United Nations Charter.
The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ambassador Daifallah Al-Fayez, affirmed Jordan's condemnation of the attacks on civilian and economic facilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Jordan's absolute solidarity with Saudi Arabia, standing with it in all steps it takes to protect its security, stability, resources, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
He expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the governments, peoples, and families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
