Irbid Municipality Continues Its Campaigns to Remove Visual Deterioration

The Greater Irbid Municipality continued its intensive field efforts, inspection and monitoring campaigns to remove rubble and construction waste that cause visual deterioration, keen to improve the environmental reality and preserve the civilized appearance of various areas of the city.

The spokesperson for the Greater Irbid Municipality, Ghaith Al-Tal, confirmed that the field cadres in the General Sanitation Directorate, in cooperation with the Implementation and Maintenance Directorate, carried out a wide campaign to remove rubble in the Bushra area, which resulted in the lifting and transportation of 464 tons of rubble and waste through 29 transfers towards the designated landfill.

Al-Tal stressed that the municipality will not hesitate to take legal action against violators, explaining that the indiscriminate throwing of rubble causes environmental and visual damage and requires legal accountability and the imposition of financial fines. He explained that if the identity of the person responsible for throwing these wastes is known or the owner of the rubble is caught, the municipality will remove and remove them at the expense of the perpetrator and impose all the costs incurred, in addition to referring him to the competent authorities to take deterrent measures against him.

Al-Tal called on citizens, property owners and contractors to comply with environmental instructions and regulations, dispose of construction waste and rubble in legal ways and in designated places, and cooperate with municipal cadres to reduce these negative phenomena that affect the general appearance of neighborhoods and residential areas.
