For his part, Dr. Suhaib Al-Ajlouni provided an explanation of the workshop's topics and objectives, reviewing the importance of artificial intelligence in the factory and the practical applications that can be employed in industrial establishments, including improving quality, increasing efficiency, reducing waste and costs, and enhancing occupational safety. The workshop also discussed practical examples and experiences on the possibility of applying these technologies according to the needs and capabilities of each establishment.
The workshop covered a number of topics, including the concept of artificial intelligence in the factory, visual inspection of the product, measuring waste, execution time, and the overall effectiveness of equipment, in addition to the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing occupational safety and reducing workplace injuries, alongside practical applications related to data protection and available funding and grant programs.
Participants showed great interest in the workshop's topic, confirming the importance of adopting artificial intelligence technologies in industrial establishments, due to the opportunities they provide for developing processes, improving production efficiency and quality, as well as contributing to reducing costs, waste, and enhancing safety in the work environment. The workshop also witnessed interaction and discussion about the possibility of applying these solutions in factories, in line with the nature and needs of each establishment.
This workshop is part of the efforts of the Irbid Chamber of Industry to support and develop the industrial sector, and enhance the benefit of industrial establishments from modern solutions and technologies, through organizing training programs and specialized events that respond to the needs of the sector, and contribute to raising the efficiency of establishments, improving their ability to face challenges, and enhancing their competitiveness.
