Industrialists and members of the general body in the province, Hajj Nabil Al-Khatib and Nader Al-Masad, said that the Council's endorsement was based on the outcome of years of hard work and the achievements made during the previous council's term, noting that the Council made great efforts to overcome obstacles to the industrial sector, networking it, and opening new and future horizons for Jordanian industries, in addition to holding continuous meetings with government and specialized bodies to address challenges and overcome them promptly.

The Council held its first session today, where its members confirmed that the next phase, from the first day, will be a phase entitled to hard work to serve the industrial sector and meet the aspirations of industrialists.

For his part, the President of the Irbid Chamber of Industry, Hani Abu Hassan, appreciated this confidence after the Independent Election Commission announced that the Council had assumed its new administrative duties, stressing that the next phase will witness a new launch based on comprehensive development plans that are compatible with the royal vision to modernize the economy and empower the private sector, as it is the main engine of development and the main source of the national economy.

Abu Hassan explained that the Chamber will give top priority to the investment file by creating an encouraging and attractive business environment for local and foreign capital, and working to overcome the challenges facing investors to ensure the continuity and expansion of their investments, noting that Irbid Governorate is a fertile and promising land for investment growth due to its location and integrated resources.

Abu Hassan highlighted the strategic importance of the industrial cities spread across the province and the industrial edifices it contains that are capable of competing, praising the qualitative development of local factories that have managed to reach their high-quality products to various global markets, affirming the Chamber's commitment to continue providing support and facilities to the industrial sector to contribute to sustainable growth, job creation, and investment promotion in the province.
