Iran renewed on Monday its denial of any involvement in an incident that occurred in late September at a military base in Britain used by the US army in its war against Iran, after Prime Minister Andy Burnum suggested its involvement.
IRNA news agency reported that "Iranian Ambassador to London Ali Mousavi once again and categorically rejected the accusations regarding Tehran's role in the incident at the Fairford military base." The official Iranian agency added that the diplomat "demanded that the British government provide evidence supporting its accusations, if any."
