"Greater Jerash" holds a solidarity rally to embody national cohesion and preserve the social fabric

The Greater Jerash Municipality organized a solidarity rally today in front of its main building, mourning the souls of the martyrs of the armed attack that targeted a church in Karak Governorate, and embodying the firm national stance in confronting terrorism.

The Mayor, Mohammad Bani Yassin, affirmed that the rally comes to express solidarity with the families of the martyrs, to renew the steadfast Jordanian position in protecting the national fabric, to uphold the values of coexistence and tolerance, and to stand as one rank in the face of everything that targets the security of the nation and the unity of its people.

Bani Yassin pointed out that targeting houses of worship violates shared religious and human values, and that the unity and cohesion of Jordanians represent the nation's safety valve and its impenetrable shield, stressing that Jordan, under its wise Hashemite leadership and the awareness of its people, continues to consolidate the approach of brotherhood and coexistence, and to preserve its security and stability.

The participants emphasized that this rally embodies a collective national position that places the sanctity of blood, the holiness of houses of worship, and the unity of society at the forefront of Jordanian constants, and expresses the cohesion of the nation's people in confronting extremist ideology, and the commitment to Jordan as a homeland of security, stability, and brotherhood.
