The participants emphasized that this brutal terrorist attack has no connection to the morals of Jordanians or the teachings of heavenly religions, stressing that the meddling hand of terrorism will not undermine the cohesion of the solid Jordanian national fabric, but will rather increase their strength and cohesion in confronting extremist and obscurantist ideology.
Representatives of Muslim and Christian clergy expressed their categorical rejection of these criminal acts, which are devoid of all human values, pointing out that this grave tragedy is the tragedy of every Jordanian home without exception. They added that the brotherly relationship that unites Jordanians extends throughout history and time, and is considered a model to be emulated in coexistence, fraternity, and national bonding.
Representatives of parties, youth institutions, and tribes emphasized that the Jordanian people, in all their spectrums, stand as one rank behind the wise Hashemite leadership, and support the armed forces and security services in combating terrorism by all means and methods.
They affirmed that Jordan will remain resistant to all despicable schemes that seek to undermine its security, thanks to the awareness of its people and the vigilance of its military and security apparatuses.
The participants prayed for the souls of the martyrs who ascended in this criminal act and wished for the speedy recovery of the wounded, affirming that Jordan will remain an oasis of security and safety and that these treacherous attacks will not deter it from continuing its firm path.
