The Jerash Greater Municipality Committee condemned the painful shooting incident inside a church in Karak Governorate, as it constitutes a violation of the sanctity of places of worship, community security, and the safety of its citizens.
The head of the municipality committee, Mohammad Bani Yassin, on his own behalf and on behalf of the municipal council members and staff, affirmed their adherence to the national constants upon which the Jordanian state is founded, foremost among them being fraternity, national unity, and the rule of law.
They renewed their commitment to the established national constants, emphasizing Jordan's unity, strength, and stability, rallying around its Hashemite leadership, and upholding the approach of fraternity and coexistence, which forms a fundamental pillar in the Jordanian state's journey and reflects the authenticity of its people and the cohesion of its national fabric.
They expressed their solidarity with the victims' families, asking the Almighty to grant the injured a speedy recovery, to protect Jordan from all harm, to perpetuate the blessing of security and safety, to protect its people from strife, to safeguard its national unity, and to maintain the blessing of stability in our dear homeland under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II and his Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, may God protect them, so that Jordan's flag may remain high and fluttering, an oasis of security and stability.
