National unity that sedition cannot break

The events witnessed in Karak, with the national and security implications they carry, place a great responsibility upon everyone, which is to protect Jordan, preserve its national unity, and stand as one rank in the face of anyone who tries to exploit circumstances to spread fear and division among the sons of one people. Terrorism does not only target the security of citizens, but also seeks to strike trust between members of society, sow doubts among them, and undermine the state of cohesion that constitutes one of the most important elements of the strength of the Jordanian state.

The most dangerous thing that security events can leave behind is not only their direct effects, but what some parties may try to exploit to stir up sedition and harm the unity of Jordanians of all backgrounds and origins. Here, everyone's responsibility emerges to realize that Jordan's strength lies in the cohesion of its people, and that differences must not be allowed to turn into an entry point for division or a means to serve agendas that target the homeland and its security.

Jordanians have proven, through various stations, that their belonging to their homeland, their loyalty to their leadership, and their national positions are firm, and that attempts to divide them will not affect their social and national ties. For Jordanians, regardless of their origins and backgrounds, are sons of one homeland, brought together by the land, history, and a common destiny, and united by one flag that does not accept fragmentation.

Hence, the current phase requires responsible societal awareness, starting from the family and extending to the neighborhood, village, city, and various institutions of society. Knowing what is happening around us and paying attention to suspicious movements that may threaten the safety of society is a national responsibility, but this responsibility must be exercised with wisdom and awareness, away from rumors, random accusations, or turning doubts into preconceived judgments against others.

Protecting Jordan is not only the responsibility of the security services, but rather that the individual should be a conscious partner in protecting their society, by reporting any activity that raises serious concerns through official channels, verifying information before circulating it, and not spreading unreliable news that may cause panic or open the door to sedition. A word in times of crisis can be a factor in strengthening security, and it can turn, if awareness is absent, into a means of harming society.

We have seen the efforts of His Majesty King Abdullah II in the field, his interest in following up on the affairs of the homeland and the security of citizens, and the efforts of the Jordanian Armed Forces, security services, and all national institutions that bear their responsibilities in protecting the country and preserving its stability. The leadership's presence and its follow-up on the ground in delicate circumstances reflect the importance of direct communication with reality, keeping abreast of the course of events, and strengthening trust between state institutions and citizens.

True appreciation for these efforts is not limited to words of praise, but is translated into awareness, commitment to the law, responsible cooperation with the competent authorities, and the rejection of any discourse that incites hatred or sows doubt among the members of one society.

Jordan is greater than sedition and stronger than attempts to tamper with its security, and the people of Karak and all other governorates are partners in protecting this homeland and preserving its dignity and stability. The road to the future will not be safe except through the awareness of its sons, their adherence to their national unity, and their belief that the security of Jordan is a shared responsibility that does not accept complacency.

The Jordanian people have proven that their national positions do not change with crises, and that their loyalty and belonging are not shaken by attempts at skepticism or division. Their national unity will remain the first line of defense for their security and stability, and the unifying flag of Jordan will remain a symbol of a homeland that accommodates all its sons and derives its strength from their cohesion and their trust in their state institutions.

May God protect Jordan, protect His Majesty King Abdullah II, protect the sons of our Jordanian people, have mercy on the martyrs of the homeland, perpetuate the blessing of security and stability in our country, and thwart every attempt that targets its national unity or harms the safety of its sons.
