"Al-Karak Reconstruction" condemns the cowardly criminal act against Hamoud Church in Al-Karak

The Chairman and members of the administrative and general body of the Al-Karak Reconstruction Foundation condemned the heinous criminal act that targeted the Greek Orthodox Church in the town of Hamoud, north of Al-Karak, which resulted in the loss of a number of innocent victims and the injury of others while they were performing a social, religious, and humanitarian duty.
In a statement issued on its behalf, and on behalf of the Governorate of Al-Karak and all its active sectors, the Foundation affirmed its strong condemnation and denunciation of this cowardly criminal act, which completely contradicts the principles of our tolerant heavenly religions and clashes with all human values, social norms, and authentic traditions upon which the people of the unified Jordanian society have been raised and molded throughout its long history.
The Foundation added in its statement that this brutal assault, which targeted safe people in places of worship, will not undermine our determination and will only increase the people of Al-Karak and all the Kingdom's governorates, Muslims and Christians alike, in cohesion and steadfastness; for they are one body and one family united by the bonds of blood, neighborhood, and a common destiny on the pure soil of Jordan, and Al-Karak will always remain, as it has been, a fortified fortress against strife, and a bastion of honor and national unity.
The Foundation extended its sincerest feelings of condolences and deep sympathy to the families of the victims and their relatives, asking the Almighty God to cover them with His vast mercy, to grant a speedy and full recovery to all the injured and wounded, and to inspire us all with patience and solace.
The Foundation confirmed that the clans of Al-Karak will collectively bury the martyrs and receive condolences.
It also declares its permanent support and absolute confidence in our valiant security services and our armed forces in pursuing the perpetrators and striking with an iron fist anyone who dares to harm the security and stability of this homeland, and it calls upon all citizens to circulate news from its official sources and to deny the opportunity to those lurking to harm our security.
