Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi affirmed the constants of Egypt's foreign policy in supporting the security and stability of the Arab Gulf states, and the necessity of preserving the freedom of navigation in maritime corridors in accordance with international law, noting that Egypt lost about 20
billion dollars from Suez Canal revenues in recent years due to the instability in the region.
Sisi stressed that the Palestinian issue remains the central issue in the Middle East, and that the two-state solution represents the way to achieve lasting peace and stability in the region.
This came during a meeting held by Sisi today, Tuesday, at the Strategic Command Headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, in the presence of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, ministers, governors, and a number of senior officials and leaders of the Armed Forces and the Civil Police.
