At the event site, the participating Chinese delegation presented to the guests a number of publications, including the Arabic version of the fifth volume of the book 'Xi Jinping on Governance and Administration', the Arabic version of the first volume of the book 'Governance of China under the Leadership of Xi Jinping', and the Arabic version of 'Master Qigong's Calligraphy and Painting – Painting Volume', in order to deepen the exchange and mutual learning between Chinese and Arab cultures through books as a bridge of communication.
Xinhua Publishing House, in the area of displaying outstanding publications within the Chinese pavilion, held an event to introduce the Arabic version of the first volume of the book 'Governance of China under the Leadership of Xi Jinping'.
The event was attended by the Counselor-Ranked Minister of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Jordan Gong An Min, the President of the Jordanian-Chinese Friendship Association Jamal Al-Dmour, the Professor at Al-Hussein Bin Talal University Dr. Hassan Al-Dajeh, and others.
The publication of this book provides the Arab world with a reliable reference to learn about China's concepts of state governance and administration, its development path and modernization practices, and contributes to deepening the exchange and mutual learning between Chinese and Jordanian civilizations, between Chinese and Arab civilizations, enhancing the foundations of communication between peoples, and pushing the friendly cooperation between the two sides in various fields to greater depth and effectiveness.
Immediately after the book presentation event, the Chinese pavilion witnessed the signing ceremony of the agreement for the transfer of Arabic publishing rights for the book 'Enhancing Language Abilities in Children'. The book is published by Beijing Normal University Press. This agreement is an important achievement in the entry of an authentic Chinese educational author into the Arab market, to help those working in the field of children's education in the Arab world benefit from Chinese concepts in the field of early language education, and to share the accumulated Chinese practical experience on the front lines of basic education.
During the exhibition period, the Chinese delegation also actively engaged in practical consultations in the field of publishing. The Publishing Group of Beijing Normal University held a discussion session with the Jordanian Ministry of Culture on the developments of the translation and mutual publication project of Chinese and Jordanian classical works, and the two sides signed agreements to import six Jordanian books, thereby advancing mutual translation work in a stable and organized manner.
In addition to the publishing rights trade and related discussions, the Chinese pavilion also launched a special exhibition on traditional Chinese medicine culture and an event to experience traditional Chinese painting and tea culture. The sets of pictures and texts introducing traditional Chinese medicine, and the various interactive activities for experiencing Chinese tea culture and calligraphy, attracted large numbers of Jordanian readers, researchers, and young students to stop, watch, and participate directly.
