((Balqa Youth)) organizes a workshop to promote partisan participation

The Balqa Governorate Youth Directorate organized a training workshop entitled "The Parties Law and Empowering Youth and Women Towards Partisan Action", with the participation of 25 young men and women, in the presence of MP Khalifa Al-Diyat and the Director of Balqa Governorate Youth Ahmed Al-Hadidi, while it was presented by Dr. Fakhri Al-Shunikat.
The workshop aimed to introduce participants to the contents of the Parties Law and its importance in organizing political and partisan life, alongside raising awareness of the role of political parties in representing citizens' aspirations and enhancing their participation in public affairs, thereby contributing to the development of democratic life and expanding the base of organized political action.
The workshop focused on the importance of empowering youth and women and enhancing their presence in the political scene as essential partners in the comprehensive development process, highlighting the necessity of equipping them with the knowledge and skills that enable them to understand the mechanisms of partisan work and exercise their political roles efficiently and responsibly, which enhances their ability to express their opinions and contribute to proposing initiatives and ideas that serve society and meet its needs.
The workshop witnessed interaction from the participants through discussions and dialogues addressing the importance of conscious engagement in partisan work, the role of young men and women in building a political life based on dialogue, acceptance of the other opinion, and teamwork, in addition to emphasizing the importance of active participation in public life and consolidating the values of citizenship and responsibility, which positively reflects on enhancing democratic practices and expanding the circle of political participation.
The organizers of the workshop affirmed that this event comes within a series of youth programs and activities implemented by the Balqa Governorate Youth Directorate aimed at raising awareness of political development issues, acquainting youth with the legislation regulating partisan work, and empowering them to play a more effective role in public life.
