The Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army, on Monday, continued the medical evacuation operations for sick children from the Gaza Strip, evacuating the 32nd batch as part of the Jordanian Medical Corridor initiative, in implementation of the Royal directives.
The new batch included 8 sick children, accompanied by 8 of their relatives, who were transferred to the Kingdom to receive treatment and medical care in several Jordanian hospitals, reflecting Jordan's continued commitment to leveraging its medical and humanitarian capabilities to alleviate the suffering of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, especially children who need specialized care.
Since the evacuation operations began in March 2025, the Jordanian Armed Forces, in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization, have been carrying out patient transfers according to approved health procedures and standards, ensuring that medical cases reach the Kingdom and receive the necessary medical care.
The continuation of the Jordanian Medical Corridor amid the dire humanitarian and health conditions in the Gaza Strip underscores Jordan's commitment to supporting Palestinian brothers and standing by the most vulnerable groups, providing medical treatment and care for cases that require medical intervention outside the Strip.
These efforts embody the humanitarian and medical role undertaken by Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, in supporting Palestinian brothers and enhancing the humanitarian and medical response to their suffering, reflecting the Kingdom's steadfast approach in providing support and care for the sick and injured, especially children.
