A batch of Gaza children return to the Strip after completing their treatment in Jordan

A number of sick children and their companions returned to the Gaza Strip on Wednesday morning via the King Hussein Bridge, after completing their treatment stages in the Kingdom's hospitals, as part of the "Jordanian Medical Corridor" initiative launched by the Kingdom to provide medical and therapeutic care for 2,000 children from Gaza.

The returning batch included (18) children and (35) of their relatives, who received the necessary medical care during their stay in the Kingdom according to the highest medical standards, after being previously evacuated to the Kingdom through the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization.

The children's relatives expressed their thanks and appreciation to His Majesty King Abdullah II and the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army for the humanitarian and medical efforts exerted in providing health care to the people of the Gaza Strip, praising the level of care and medical services their children received during their treatment in the Kingdom's hospitals.

The "Jordanian Medical Corridor" initiative comes within the continuous relief and humanitarian efforts exerted by the Kingdom to alleviate the suffering of the brothers in the Gaza Strip.

Patients and their companions are returned to the Strip after completing their treatment, to make way for the evacuation of new batches of patients for treatment in the Kingdom's hospitals.

It is noteworthy that this procedure of returning patients with their families to Gaza after the end of treatment affirms Jordan's steadfast position in supporting the steadfastness of the Palestinian brothers on their land.
