Amman Ahliya University and Queen's University Belfast Receive Funding from the British Council

Amman Ahliya University, in partnership with Queen's University Belfast, has received funding under the Going Global Partnerships – TNE Exploratory Grants from the British Council, to develop an integrated academic pathway in digital construction and Building Information Modeling (BIM), in line with Pearson standards.

The project is led by Dr. Fares Al-Ghais and Dr. Stefan McClenaghan from Queen's University Belfast, while Amman Ahliya University is represented by Dr. Sandra Matarneh and Dr. Feroz Abu Sweilem, Director of the Global Linkage Center, where the project combines specialized academic expertise from both universities to develop the proposed academic pathway and enhance its outcomes.

The project aims to develop an academic framework that links technical education at the diploma level in Jordan with academic continuation opportunities at the bachelor's and postgraduate levels, providing clear pathways for students to transition to specialized academic programs, including the Bachelor of Civil Engineering (BEng Civil Engineering) and the Master of Applied Digital Construction Management (MSc Applied Digital Construction Management) at Queen's University Belfast.
