She added that targeting innocent worshippers represents an assault on the values of citizenship and human dignity, noting that the human right to practice religious rites in safety must remain protected, and that protecting citizens without discrimination is an inherent responsibility of the state and its institutions.
Al-Jaafrah pointed out that the positions taken by the leadership in times of adversity reflect the essence of national responsibility by following up on events and taking the necessary measures to pursue those involved and enforce the law, ensuring the achievement of justice and the preservation of society's security and stability.
She affirmed that His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein's follow-up on the incident's developments and his emphasis on pursuing and holding the perpetrators accountable reflect the leadership's keenness to protect citizens and consolidate the rule of law, noting that a strong state is one that translates its positions into practical measures that guarantee the protection of lives, rights, and human dignity.
In a related context, Al-Jaafrah noted that His Majesty the King's concern for the condition of the injured and their health and humanitarian needs embodies the state's responsibility toward its people, and confirms that the suffering of the affected families is not a fleeting matter, but a national responsibility that requires support, care, and standing by them in these difficult circumstances.
She noted that the visit of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah to the house of mourning in Hamoud village, accompanied by Her Royal Highness Princess Rajwa Al Hussein and Her Royal Highness Princess Salma bint Abdullah II, carried deep humanitarian connotations that reflected the leadership's solidarity with the victims' families and their sharing of their grief, emphasizing that being close to citizens' pain in moments of loss strengthens the bonds of trust and belonging between the leadership and the people.
She added that consoling the families of the martyrs, especially embracing the victims' daughters and standing by the bereaved mothers and wives, expressed a humanitarian approach that places the human being at the center of attention, confirming that the victims' families will not be alone in facing the effects of the loss, and that their dignity and needs deserve continuous care.
Al-Jaafrah also affirmed that the position of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II regarding the incident reflects Jordan's categorical rejection of terrorism, the targeting of places of worship, and the terrorizing of the safe, stressing that tolerance does not mean leniency toward crime, and that coexistence is inseparable from enforcing the law and holding accountable everyone who threatens the security and unity of society.
She stressed that Jordan's strength is not based solely on the efficiency of its institutions and security apparatuses, but also on the system of national values that unite Jordanians, foremost among them equal citizenship, respect for religious and intellectual diversity, and the rejection of intolerance and hatred, affirming that national unity represents the first line of defense in the face of extremism and attempts to incite strife.
From her educational position, Al-Jaafrah affirmed that the incident places educational institutions before a great responsibility in enhancing national awareness and consolidating the values of tolerance, dialogue, and respect for the other, and immunizing students against extremist ideas and inflammatory rhetoric, noting that the school's role is not limited to providing knowledge, but extends to building a conscious personality that believes that the nation's strength lies in the cohesion of its people and respect for their rights.
