Al-Tall as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Amman Stock Exchange

It has been decided to appoint Dr. Raed Mahmoud Al-Tall as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Amman Stock Exchange.
Dr. Raed Mahmoud Al-Tall is considered an economic expert who combines work in public policy, economic research and analysis, and government and advisory experience. His expertise focuses on macroeconomics, economic policies, and economic modeling, in addition to his interests in investment issues, financial markets, monetary policy, finance, and the role of capital markets in supporting economic growth. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Aberdeen in the United Kingdom, and Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Economics from the University of Jordan.
His participation in the Economic Modernization Vision emerged through his membership in the specialized economic committees to prepare the vision in 2022, and he was a key member of the working team that contributed to the preparation and development of the macroeconomic model supporting the vision. He also participated in launching the executive program for the vision for the period 2023–2025, and in reviewing the programs and projects of the second phase in 2025, in addition to participating in launching the government's executive program for the period 2026–2029.
Dr. Al-Tall worked as an economic expert in the field of economic studies and research at the Office of His Majesty at the Royal Hashemite Court during the period 2023–2024, and participated in preparing economic studies and analyses related to public policy files. He received the Order of the Centennial of the State (First Class) in recognition of his contribution to the work of the Royal Committee, the Economic Modernization Vision, and the macroeconomic model supporting the vision. He also received a letter of thanks from His Majesty the King following his participation in preparing the Economic Modernization Vision.
Dr. Al-Tall serves as an Associate Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics at the School of Business at the University of Jordan, and previously held the position of Head of the Economics Department at the University of Jordan. In the field of research and advisory experience, he serves as a Lead Academic at the International Growth Centre (IGC) at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and also works as a Senior Economic Researcher at the Scientific Advisory Board of the African Center for Strategic Research and Studies, a Senior Economic Researcher at the Politics and Society Institute, and a member of the Economic Observatory at the University of Jordan.
