A number of youth from the village of "Beit Yafa," affiliated with the Western Irbid District in Irbid Governorate, organized a solidarity vigil to honor and commemorate the nation's martyrs in Karak Governorate, expressing their national cohesion and categorical rejection of all forms of crime and violence.
The vigil witnessed broad participation from the people and youth of the region, who emphasized their strong condemnation of these criminal acts, stressing that the entire Jordanian people stand as one rank and rally firmly behind their Hashemite leadership, so that Jordan may always remain a country of tolerance and moderation, rejecting all forms of hatred and division.
In a speech during the event, Awad Bani Awad, one of the organizers of the vigil, said:
"The least we can offer for the blood of the nation's martyrs is to send a message from this simple Jordanian village to the entire world, stating that we, as Jordanians, affirm that we all stand as one rank, united by one homeland and a wise Hashemite leadership, and we form one body in the face of any attempt to tamper with the security of the homeland or its social fabric."
Bani Awad added that all members of Jordanian society reject any rhetoric that spreads hatred or incites violence and criminality, confirming that the criminal events witnessed in Karak are unacceptable behavior that no religion or social custom in Jordan accepts.
This youth event comes as part of a series of popular initiatives witnessed across the various governorates of the Kingdom to emphasize the cohesion of the internal front and the full popular support for the Hashemite leadership, and to pray for the souls of the righteous martyrs who sacrificed their lives in defense of Jordan's pure soil.
