With the strongest terms of condemnation and denunciation, the Al-Rawashdeh Clan Diwan in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan condemns the sinful criminal act that targeted worshippers at Hamoud Church in Karak Governorate, and affirms its categorical rejection of this shameful act, which constitutes a flagrant assault on the sanctity of places of worship, a threat to Jordan's security and stability, and a violation of its deeply rooted national and humanitarian values.
Assaulting places of worship and targeting safe citizens is a crime rejected by all standards, and it cannot be justified or tolerated under any circumstances, for terrorism in all its forms and manifestations targets Jordan as a whole.
What has occurred necessitates a unified and firm Jordanian national stance that accepts no complacency or compromise, and the people of Jordan, with all their components, currents, and diversity, are one body united by citizenship, dignity, loyalty to His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, and belonging to the pure soil of Jordan, pointing out that attempts to sow discord and plant hatred will shatter against the awareness of Jordanians, their cohesion, their steadfastness as one body, and their belief that national unity is the country's impregnable fortress.
While the Al-Rawashdeh Clan Diwan affirms that the members of the Al-Rawashdeh clan in Jordan stand as one rank in the face of terrorism and extremism, and anyone who dares to harm the security and unity of the homeland, it also calls for the application of the provisions of the law and holding those responsible for this assault accountable with the maximum deterrent penalties for them and others.
The Al-Rawashdeh Clan Diwan emphasizes the necessity of protecting places of worship, safeguarding the dignity of citizens, and ensuring their right to practice their religious rites in security and tranquility, in a way that strengthens the rule of law and consolidates civil and societal peace.
We pray to God Almighty to protect Jordan, its leadership and people, to perpetuate the blessing of security and stability upon it, to spare it from discord and evils, for our homeland to remain resistant to terrorism and impregnable through the solidarity and cohesion of its people, and for the banner of love and coexistence to remain raised throughout its lands.
Jordan is one indivisible homeland, its security is a collective national responsibility, places of worship are a protected sanctity that must not be violated, and our national unity is a firm covenant and a solid rock upon which all schemes of discord and terrorism are shattered.
May God have mercy on the martyrs, we wish a speedy recovery to the wounded and injured, and may God's curse be upon the criminals.
