The Qalqilya Council condemns in the strongest terms the heinous terrorist crime that targeted Hamoud Church in Karak Governorate, which claimed the lives of a number of citizens and injured others, in a rejected criminal assault that contradicts human and national values and targets the security, stability, and unity of Jordan and its people.
The Council affirms that targeting houses of worship and safe citizens is a crime that affects all Jordanians, and does not target a specific place or group alone, but rather represents an assault on the Jordanian national fabric and the values of brotherhood and coexistence that have always formed one of the pillars of the strength of the Jordanian state and the cohesion of its society.
