A condemnation statement issued by the Christian clans of Al-Salt

We, the people of Al-Salt, denounce and condemn in the strongest terms the crime and sinful assault that took place at Hamoud Church in Karak Governorate, and we affirm our absolute rejection of terrorism, violence, intimidation, and dark ideology, and of every attempt targeting the security, stability, safety, and national unity of Jordanians.
We, the Jordanians from Al-Salt, affirm that we stand as one rank with our fellow citizens in the face of anyone who attempts to sow discord or undermine our national fabric. We are children of one land, united by our belonging to Jordan and bound by ties of love, brotherhood, history, and a common destiny, and we will not allow hatred to divide us or touch our unity.
We express our full solidarity with our people in Karak, and we affirm our confidence in our armed forces and security services in confronting those with sick souls and extremist, criminal, takfiri ideology, and preventing them from harming our unity. We say to them: You have failed; you will not undermine Jordan and the unity of its people, and there is no place among us for those who target the security of the homeland and its innocent children. The Jordanian people today will not be as they were yesterday; rather, they will be more aware, steadfast, and determined to protect their homeland and confront anyone who attempts to compromise its security and stability or tamper with its national fabric.
In this painful tragedy, we offer our condolences to ourselves and our nation for its innocent martyrs, and we ask God to grant the injured a speedy recovery.
May God protect Jordan, its wise Hashemite leadership, and its conscious people, and may He perpetuate the blessing of security and stability upon it, and always unite its people in love, loyalty, and belonging, so that our homeland remains a model of national unity and cohesion among all its children.
