The Chief of the Joint Staff, Major General Majdi Muhammad Al-Harasis, visited the Airport Security and Protection Directorate on Thursday, where he was received by its director and a number of senior officers of the Armed Forces.
Major General Al-Harasis listened to a briefing on the tasks and duties assigned to the directorate, the progress of training programs, the level of readiness, and the future plans that are being implemented.
Major General Al-Harasis also reviewed the security and protection protocols in place at airports, enhancing the efficiency of duty execution and maintaining security and safety, in coordination with relevant authorities and institutions.
At the end of the visit, Major General Al-Harasis emphasized the necessity of providing services and possible facilities for travelers, reflecting the level of professionalism in duty performance and enhancing the institutional image of the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army, in line with the nature of joint work with airport authorities.
