Lieutenant General Al-Harasis Receives Assistant Secretary of State for Political and Military Affairs

Lieutenant General Majdi Muhammad Al-Harasis, Chief of the Joint Staff, received, on Tuesday, Assistant Secretary of State for Political and Military Affairs, Fleet White, and the accompanying delegation.
Lieutenant General Al-Harasis, in the presence of a number of senior officers of the Armed Forces and the American Ambassador to Amman, discussed bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries, ways to develop and strengthen it in various military and defense fields, and a number of issues of mutual interest that serve the interests of both countries.
For his part, the guest praised the efforts being made by Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein, to enhance security and stability in the region, affirming the importance of the role played by the Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army, in facing challenges and enhancing regional security.
