Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff receives the Commander of the US Army Central Command

The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Majdi Mohammad Al-Harasis, received on Wednesday the Commander of the US Army Central Command, Lieutenant General Kevin Leahy, and the accompanying delegation.
The two sides discussed ways to develop military cooperation and coordination between the two armies, in addition to expanding the existing partnership between the two sides in military fields, in a way that enhances joint efforts to support security and stability.
In turn, Lieutenant General Leahy expressed his appreciation for the pivotal role played by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Jordanian Armed Forces in consolidating security and stability at the regional and international levels.
The meeting was attended by a number of senior officers of the Jordanian Armed Forces and the US Defense Attaché in Amman.
