Chief of Joint Staff Major General Majdi Muhammad Al-Harasis received, on Tuesday, the Bahraini Ambassador to the Kingdom, Sheikh Khalifa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.
Major General Al-Harasis discussed with the ambassador, during the meeting, a number of issues of mutual interest in the military and defense fields that link the two brotherly countries, in addition to ways to enhance bilateral relations and joint cooperation, and to discuss the latest developments on the regional scene.
For his part, the Bahraini ambassador expressed his appreciation for the pivotal role played by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, in supporting security and peace in the region, affirming the importance of continuing joint military cooperation in the two brotherly countries.
The meeting was attended by a number of senior officers of the Jordanian Armed Forces and the Bahraini military attaché in Amman.
