Jordanian match commissioner Laila Al-Azzam has passed the tests and requirements of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) to be officially accredited as a commissioner for the confederation's matches and tournaments, starting from next year, 2027.
Al-Azzam's accreditation came after she passed the AFC course and tests held last August in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, with the attendance of 100 male and female participants representing 18 national associations on the continent.
Al-Azzam has joined the elite group of Jordanian cadres and competencies accredited continentally in organizing matches, tournaments, and various Asian competitions, in line with the efforts of the Jordan Football Association, which looks to refine and qualify young talents, invest in them, and develop them to enhance the level of organization and management of various local tournaments.
It is noteworthy that Al-Azzam holds the position of Director of Women's Competitions at the Jordan Football Association, in addition to being a local match commissioner.
