The Jordanian Camel Racing Committee extended its congratulations to the owners of the winning camels, commending the participation of all owners and trainers who represented Jordan in this festival, and wishing them further success in future participations.
Furthermore, the Jordanian Camel Racing Committee, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, continues its preparations to organize the Sixth Jordan Camel Racing and Nabati Poetry Festival under the patronage of Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II.
On another note, the Aqaba City Youth Club announced the holding of basketball training and education courses for various age groups and both genders.
The training sessions are held three days a week at the club's stadium under the supervision of coach Omar Al-Zaghaybeh.
On the other hand, the Al Hussein bin Abdullah II Award for Voluntary Work unit at the Ministry of Youth organized a training and introductory session on the award for the Aqaba Youth Directorate.
The session aimed to introduce attendees to their functional tasks and duties regarding the award, and to enhance their technical and administrative capabilities to perform their role effectively as a key link between the award administration and the local community.
It also focused on mechanisms for providing full support and technical assistance to citizens and institutions wishing to participate and register in the award's activities.
The session also covered the philosophy of the award, its basic pillars, its mission and developmental goals, and its various fields, in addition to reviewing the approved categories, comprehensive standards, principles, and official application requirements.
The tasks and responsibilities of liaison officers in follow-up, coordination, and field support were clarified, in addition to reviewing the electronic registration steps and the mechanism for entering the required data and information accurately, which contributes to enabling workers in youth centers to provide support and guidance to those wishing to participate, and ensuring the implementation of registration procedures correctly and in an organized manner in accordance with the official aspirations of the award.
