The importance of these projections lies in the fact that they give the Jordanian economy a positive push toward continued growth and progress. They confirm that the efforts exerted to maintain economic stability and enhance production and investment are opening the door to greater opportunities in the coming years. The projected growth is an opportunity to build upon what has been achieved and to launch toward higher and more sustainable growth rates, the effects of which will be reflected in investment, production, employment, and living standards.
Most importantly, the Jordanian economy possesses positive indicators worth building upon, foremost among them the 3% growth in real GDP during the second quarter of the current year, alongside the distinguished performance of key productive sectors, most notably agriculture, which recorded a growth of 7.8%, manufacturing at 6.2%, and the electricity sector at 5%.
