Data from the Committee Against the Wall and Settlements revealed a serious escalation in the number of martyrs at the hands of settlers during the year 2026, reaching 30 martyrs by the second of October, surpassing every year observed since 2022, according to the Palestinian News Agency.
It was noted that the toll for the months passed in 2026 exceeded double the total for the entire previous year, with an increase of nearly 114%, indicating a serious escalation in the deadly results of settler terrorism.
The data for the current year also highlights the concentration of the toll in the governorates of Ramallah and Al-Bireh and Nablus, with the committee recording 15 martyrs in Ramallah and Al-Bireh and 7 in Nablus, representing about 73% of the total, compared to 3 in Hebron, two in each of Jerusalem and Salfit, and one in Qalqilya.
The list documents multiple-victim killings during a single attack, data that shows how settler terrorism threatens the lives of Palestinians in their homes, schools, and workplaces, and increases the pressure to uproot them from their land.
