Al-Khashman said that Jordan was and will remain a homeland that brings its people together in love, brotherhood, and belonging, stressing that the historical ties and national and human values that unite Jordanians are greater than all attempts at division, and that Jordan's security and stability is a shared national responsibility that falls on everyone's shoulders.
For their part, a number of local community members and municipal council members affirmed, during speeches they delivered at the stand, that national unity and Islamic-Christian coexistence constitute the source of Jordan's strength and resilience, and that Jordanians, with all their components and spectrums, stand as one rank in the face of violence, extremism, and everything that would harm the nation's security and the safety of its people.
The participants stressed that what unites Jordanians is greater than all attempts to divide them, and that their unity and cohesion will remain the impenetrable dam in the face of anyone who tries to tamper with the national fabric.
The participants unanimously agreed, with one voice and a unified national stance, on their absolute support for His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, and their support and pride in the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army, and the security services, confirming that Jordanians will remain the true support for state institutions and the protectors of their national unity.
The stand concluded by affirming that Jordan will remain strong under its Hashemite leadership, resistant to strife through the unity of its people, and safe through the sacrifices of its army and security services, expressing their sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, and praying to God to protect Jordan, its leadership, and its people from all harm.
