"Yarmouk" successfully completes the electronic academic accreditation system with absolute readiness

Yarmouk University President, Prof. Dr. Malik Sharayreh, confirmed that the University's Computer and Information Center has completed the development, programming, and operational testing of the electronic academic accreditation system, as part of Yarmouk University's firm commitment to digital transformation and the development of institutional work procedures, in line with sustainable development goals—particularly quality education, industry, innovation and infrastructure, and peace, justice and strong institutions.

Dr. Sharayreh explained that the Computer and Information Center, in cooperation with the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center, conducted field technical inspections and tested the efficiency of the entire system. Upon its delivery to the Accreditation Center, the developed system achieved absolute readiness for connection paths, basic data, the electronic accreditation cycle, archiving and reporting, and field operation and permissions, with results proving the system's stability and absence of any technical obstacles.

The University President added that the system aims to automate the procedures for applying for academic accreditations, tracking and archiving them, and providing reports and statistics that support the decision-making process, thereby contributing to enhancing the use of digital solutions, developing work procedures related to academic accreditation, and raising the efficiency of relevant administrative and technical operations.

He indicated that the system includes a set of functions that allow for the management of academic accreditation requests, tracking their stages, archiving related data and documents, and extracting relevant reports and statistics, in addition to providing a reminder feature for accreditation renewal dates, which helps in monitoring the temporal status of accreditations and taking necessary actions in a timely manner.
