Vivo Energy Jordan inaugurates Mecca Street station as part of a plan to expand the presence of the Engen brand in the Kingdom

Vivo Energy Jordan has inaugurated a service station bearing the Engen brand on Mecca Street in Amman, as part of its plans to convert former Total Energies stations into the Engen brand, as part of its plan to develop its network of stations in the Kingdom and enhance the customer experience.

Following the inauguration, members of the senior management of Vivo Energy Group in Jordan and Africa visited four other Engen-branded stations on Wasfi Al-Tal Street (The Gardens), Al-Muqabilin, Abdullah Ghosheh Street, and Al-Bayader, and reviewed their facilities, services, and operational readiness.

The inauguration of the Mecca Street station is part of a phased plan to unify the identity of Vivo Energy's network of stations in the Kingdom under the Engen brand. So far, the company has completed the conversion of the identity of 14 stations out of 135 targeted by the plan across Jordan, in accordance with the Group's standards for safety, quality, and operation.

The General Manager of Vivo Energy Jordan, Adel Saadallah, said: "The inauguration of the Mecca Street station and the four other stations marks the beginning of an investment and operational phase in which the company seeks to achieve tangible development in its network of stations and the experience of its customers in Jordan. This approach is based on the extensive experience of Vivo Energy Group in African markets, and a deep understanding of the needs of the Jordanian market and the aspirations of customers."

The General Manager of Vivo Energy Jordan, Adel Saadallah, said that the inauguration of the Mecca Street station represents an important step in the next phase of the company's investment and development plans, noting that its focus is on achieving tangible improvements in its operations, providing high-quality and reliable services that meet the changing needs of customers.

Saadallah added that the next phase will witness the continuation of the modernization of the network of stations and the development of their services according to a gradual plan, while adhering to safety, quality, and operational efficiency standards, investing in the capabilities of national competencies, and providing more integrated and reliable services to individuals and business sectors, affirming that building a sustainable presence for the Engen brand in the Kingdom will be based on the quality of the experience provided to the customer and the strength of long-term local partnerships.

Vivo Energy Jordan had inaugurated last August its first service station bearing the global Engen brand, marking the start of the implementation phase of its plan to convert and develop its network of stations in the Kingdom, following the completion of the acquisition deal for the business of Total Energies Marketing - Jordan.

Vivo Energy, the leading company in the distribution of petroleum derivatives, operates and markets its products in Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands, in addition to Jordan, where the Group has a network of about 4200 service stations in 29 markets, and exports lubricants to a number of African countries.

Its services in the retail sector include fuel, lubricants, card services, retail stores, restaurants, and other non-fuel services, and it provides fuel, lubricants, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and chemicals to its business customers in a wide range of sectors including maritime, aviation, construction, energy, transportation, agriculture, and manufacturing.
