"UNHCR" continues mobile assistance services in Irbid

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) continues to provide counseling and protection services to refugees in Irbid through the mobile assistance office of its field office during the month of November, according to a set schedule that includes a number of locations.

The office will provide its services every Monday from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM, starting its work on November 2nd at the Family Health Institute of the King Hussein Foundation, and moving on the 9th of the month to the Jordan Red Crescent headquarters in Ajloun.

The office will return to the Family Health Institute on November 16th, while providing its services on the 23rd of the month at the Reef Derb Abi Said Charitable Society for Development and Training in the Deir Abi Said area, and will conclude its appointments on November 30th at the Takaful Charitable Society in Ramtha.

The UNHCR emphasized the necessity of booking an appointment in advance to benefit from the mobile assistance office services, calling on refugees not to visit the designated sites without an appointment, as each person is entitled to book only one appointment per month, in order to organize the delivery of services and allow the largest possible number of refugees to benefit from them.

It explained that booking appointments is done by calling the UNHCR help line. These offices are part of the UNHCR’s efforts to facilitate refugees' access to counseling and protection services, and to provide direct communication channels with them in a number of governorates, enabling them to raise their inquiries and obtain support and guidance according to their needs.
