Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Hashem bin Al Hussein, the "Tharid Endowment" held a special ceremony on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, to honor the entities and individuals who have contributed to and supported its journey, at Pine House in Amman, in the presence of several personalities, officials, and representatives of supporting institutions and companies.
The ceremony began with the royal salute, followed by an opening speech by the Chairman of the Board, Mr. Munir Hajjeri, who welcomed His Highness the Prince and the attendees, expressing the appreciation of the "Tharid Endowment" to all those who believed in its vision and contributed to its journey, affirming that what the endowment achieved was the result of the combined efforts of its partners and supporters.
The ceremony included a video presentation that covered the journey of the "Tharid Endowment" since its establishment in 2022 near the Al-Husseini Mosque in downtown, where its idea was launched with a clear goal of providing endless giving and feeding people for the sake of Allah, with contributions from individuals and entities who believed in this vision and that true giving is the giving that can continue.
The presentation highlighted the most important milestones in the journey of the endowment, starting with the royal visit, which was a significant and important milestone in its journey, and contributed to enhancing its vision and developing its work, turning the idea over time into a tangible impact that people see and feel its results.
The ceremony also addressed the promise made by the "Tharid Endowment" during the blessed month of Ramadan in 2024, which is to keep the goodness continuous and not to stop giving, affirming that every meal provided by the endowment carries a message beyond providing food, which is that goodness is not made by one person, but is achieved by the gathering of many on giving and charity.
The "Tharid Endowment" emphasized that its message is not limited to preparing and serving food, but extends to providing reassurance, love, and goodness, and creating a human impact that preserves the dignity of the beneficiaries and enhances the values of solidarity and compassion in society.
The ceremony also showcased the presence of the "Tharid Endowment" in the Gaza Strip through a number of initiatives that brought hope, goodness, and impact, and through which the endowment managed to provide more than three million meals in the Strip, in a practical embodiment of its vision based on sustainable giving and reaching those in need.
The Executive Director of the endowment, Mr. Ahmed Al-Lawama, presented a summary in which he reviewed the vision and mission of the endowment, its most prominent achievements since its actual operation began on March 11, 2024, along with its future plans to enhance sustainability and expand its impact, starting his speech with gratitude and appreciation to the attendees.
The ceremony concluded with the honoring of the entities and individuals who contributed to and supported the journey of the "Tharid Endowment", in appreciation of their giving and belief in its message, and affirming that every partner in this journey is part of an extended human impact and a giving that began to remain.
