Vatican Pope Leo XIV affirmed his prayers for those who were killed and those who were injured last Friday in the terrorist attack that targeted believers in the Greek Orthodox Church of Saint George in the town of Hammoud in Karak Governorate.
The Pope said, in a post via his account on the "X" platform, that he expresses his closeness to this Christian community and to the entire country, which is characterized by peaceful coexistence and mutual respect among followers of different religions.
