The Papal Nuncio to Jordan, Archbishop Giovanni Pietro Dal Toso, and His Excellency Archbishop Iyad Twal visited those injured in the terrorist attack that targeted Saint George Greek Orthodox Church in the town of Hamoud, Karak Governorate. The visit included the Italian Hospital, the Military Hospital, and the Government Hospital, where they checked on the condition of the injured, wishing them a speedy recovery.
The Papal Nuncio and Archbishop Twal also offered their condolences and sympathy to the victims' families at the funeral home, and visited Saint George Church in the town of Hamoud, in a gesture of solidarity and an expression of the Church's closeness to the grieving families and members of the local community during this painful tragedy.
