The Model School at Mutah University organized a charity campaign titled "Winter Clothing," aimed at distributing winter clothes to a number of children, in a humanitarian initiative that seeks to alleviate living burdens on needy families and promote the values of solidarity, cohesion, and volunteer work, especially with the onset of winter.
Mutah University President, Dr. Salamah Al-Nuaimat, sponsored the campaign's activities, in the presence of the Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Mohammad Al-Saraira, emphasizing the importance of humanitarian initiatives in embodying the university's national and societal mission, and enhancing its role in serving the local community and responding to its needs, alongside its mission in education and scientific research.
Al-Nuaimat pointed out that Mutah University, with its military and civilian wings, is keen to support charitable initiatives that reflect the values of belonging, giving, and social responsibility, and contribute to assisting needy families and providing winter supplies for children, which enhances their sense of care and attention.
For her part, the Director of the Model School, Ghadeer Al-Mubaideen, affirmed the school's keenness to continue implementing educational and humanitarian initiatives that link the educational process with community service, and contribute to instilling the values of giving, volunteering, and cooperation among students by involving them in activities and practices that promote social responsibility.
According to the Department of Cultural and Public Relations at the university, the campaign underscores Mutah University's efforts to strengthen its partnership with the local community in Karak Governorate and expand the scope of voluntary and humanitarian initiatives, in a way that establishes a culture of social solidarity and enhances the role of educational institutions in serving citizens, especially those most in need of support.
