The Israeli occupation continues to close the Ein Yabrud gate and shuts the only entrance to Al-Mughayyir in the West Bank

Israeli occupation forces continue to close the iron gate erected at the entrance to the town of Ein Yabrud, east of Ramallah, for the second consecutive day, while they closed the entrance to the village of Al-Mughayyir, to the north, at dawn on Sunday, according to the Palestinian News Agency "Wafa".

Palestinian sources explained that the occupation forces have continued, since Saturday, to close the gate erected at the eastern entrance of the town, which has caused a severe traffic jam and obstructed the movement of citizens leaving and heading to and from the city of Ramallah.

The occupation forces also closed the only western entrance to the village of Al-Mughayyir since the morning hours and fired gas canisters at passing vehicles, noting that the occupation forces have closed the eastern entrance for 4 years.

According to the database of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, the number of checkpoints, closure points, and obstacles in the West Bank has reached 942, including 824 permanent checkpoints and closure points, and 118 obstacles consisting of earth mounds, trenches, and roadblocks, while their total length reaches about 107.7 kilometers, according to data from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
