The Iftaa Department praises the security achievement in arresting the perpetrators of the Karak attack

The General Iftaa Department praised the security achievement represented by the arrest of the perpetrators of the terrorist attack witnessed in Karak Governorate, confirming that Jordan is resilient against terrorism, and that its security services are capable of protecting the nation's security and stability and pursuing anyone who attempts to undermine them.
In a statement today, Monday, the Department expressed its appreciation for the efforts of the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army, the Public Security, the General Intelligence Directorate, and all other security services, praising their efficiency and vigilance in pursuing the perpetrators of the crime and arresting them, and affirming that the security of Jordanians and the protection of their lives and property is a priority that cannot be compromised.
It affirmed that targeting the innocent, terrorizing the secure, and attacking people and places of worship are crimes prohibited by Sharia, and have no connection to Islam, stressing that these acts will not undermine Jordan's security and national unity, in light of the cohesion of its people, their awareness, and their rallying around their Hashemite leadership.
The Department renewed its support for His Majesty King Abdullah II and the security and military services in protecting the homeland and safeguarding its security and stability, asking God Almighty to protect Jordan and its leadership, have mercy on the victims, heal the injured, and perpetuate the blessing of security and safety upon the Kingdom.
